Serena Lewis

As a new mum who is majorly sleep deprived, Serena's sense of humour is increasingly deranged. She excels in doing accents although her Geordie is limited to shouting "Byker Grove!".

Serena has been acting and singing since the age of 5 when she quacked onto stage as a Christmas Duck; since then she has performed in Leicester, London, Holland and in Cardiff with the Sherman Youth Theatre, Actorsworkshop and Everyman.

She has written for theatre and previously had her work included in performances by Hijinx Theatre Company and Actorsworkshop.

She gained her Equity membership in 2006 working on films for HTV Wales, providing a voice over for a corporate video, spending days running away from rhinoceros headed aliens filming 'Dr Who' and vaguely understanding the plot as an extra in Pobol y Cwm.

Being a part time English and Drama teacher at a secondary school, she is often found improvising in front of cynical audiences and trying to use humour to win people over! She has ten years of experience in running workshops and creating training materials for young people and adults.
